New license for dog walkers in the Royal parks
Did you know that a new license scheme is being introduced for all dog walkers operating in the Royal Parks?
The scheme is due to start in June and it aims to restrict all dog walkers to a limit of 4 dogs per walk and the areas where they are able to walk dogs in the parks. All licensed dog walkers will be given arm bands to wear, and there will be an annual fee per walker. To apply for the license everyone will have to prove they have public liability insurance, a risk assessment policy aswell as providing vet and customer references.
We think this will be great if it improves standards in our business but pointless if it is not well policed. So we will be letting you know how it goes.........
