Life with your dog will be so much better if you start on the right foot
We would like to help your puppy put its right paw forward from the start of its life and that’s why we are now offering individual training sessions with our own in-house trainer when your puppy joins The K9 to 5 Club.
Your puppy training sessions will cover:
- An introduction to how your puppy thinks and learns
- How to be a leader for your puppy
- How to puppy proof your home
- Greeting rules
- Feeding rules
- Toilet training
- Learning about calming signals
- A guide to suitable toys
- Preparing your puppy for vet visits
And be prepared home work will be given!
Obviously the more time and patience you put in yourself, the quicker your puppy will learn and the fewer sessions you will need with us, but we can arrange further training should you need it.
Puppy pop – ins
We can also offer twice daily visits by one of our walkers providing your puppy with undivided attention for a minimum of one hour per visit.
This service will mean that:
- A dedicated walker will be able to visit your home to either, play and keep your puppy company indoors, or take it out for a short walk outdoors, and feed it if needed.
- Our walkers keep to the same time every day so that your puppy can get into an exercise and toilet routine and by keeping to this routine it will then be able to learn to relax in the comfort of its own home.
- You will get daily feedback from your puppy’s walker.
Trainer/ walker liaison
As part of our service our trainer will also instruct your puppy’s walker to make sure that everyone is giving the exact same messages to your puppy so that good behaviour reigns supreme!
